GCFR, Muhammadu Buhari |
President Muhammadu Buhari has lamented over the current state of Nigeria’s economy.
Buhari lamented that he is not comfortable with the country’s current economy.
President Buhari made this known during a media interview on Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.
He urged Nigerians to take up Agriculture in a bid to boost and save the dwindling economy.
“I’m not comfortable with Nigeria’s economy and that is why I’m working hard to get foreign nations to invest in our country
“We need people to go back to the farm, there are people leaving their air conditioned office and going back to the farm and this has helped us as a country," He said.
He added that agriculture has been a major factor in the country's economy and maybe it's high time the country invested in it heavily.
