We are looking for educated Nigerians to contest 2023 elections -APC


The ruling party 'All Progressive Congress' (APC) has said it is looking for educated Nigerians to occupy political positions in the 2023 general elections. 

This was made known by the Chairman of the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Mai Mala Buni, during an event organised by the APC Professionals' Forum on Tuesday, April 20, at the party's national secretariat in Abuja, to showcase the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari's government. 

Buni who was represented by the Secretary of the APC Caretaker Committee, John Akpanudoedehe, said;

“We are looking for educated people to contest for every available position in Nigeria. At this time, if you don’t succeed, you will be compensated.


“You must contest. Women must contest; that Disabled people must contest. Young professionals must contest." (statement reads in part) 


Buni thanked the forum for enlightening Nigerians on the programmes, policies, and achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari.
