I apologized to God for supporting Buhari agenda, greatest scam in Africa - Dino Melaye

former Kogi West senator, Dino Melaye, on Friday, March 19, said that he had apologized to God and Nigerians for supporting the candidacy of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

Dino said the agenda which brought Buhari into office was the "greatest scam that came out of Africa", affirming that he regretted supporting Buhari. 

"Once I was blind, now I can see. How can one remain in a political party or support a president with what is happening today in Nigeria? How? So, I regret very seriously because we were scammed," he said. 

Melaye, alongside other PDP members, had defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC) party in 2014 ahead of the 2015 general elections. 

Speaking on a programme "Politics Today" on Channels TV, Melaye said the Buhari regime had failed Nigerians in all aspect.
