Nigerian online teen comedy group, Ikorodu Bois, have been nominated for the “Favourite African Social Media Star” category of the '2021 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards'.
Ikorodu Bois have been widely known for recreating and mimicking several musical and comic videos in Nigeria and beyond.
In 2020, the talented comedy group got the attention of 'Russo Brothers'- the producers of the Hollywood movie, Extraction 2, following a thrilling remake of the movie trailer which featured Chris Hemsworth.
Russo Brothers had in a tweet expressed their excitement of the remake and invited the comedy group to the world premiere of their Netflix action film sequel.
Reacting to the latest nomination, Ikorodu Bois took to their Twitter handle to share the good news. They wrote;
“Good news! we have just been nominated for a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award.? plssss guys vote for us''
