BREAKING: FG Extends NIN-SIM Linkage By Eight Weeks

The Federal Government of Nigeria has extended the ongoing National Identification Number (NIN) and Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) integration exercise by eight weeks.

This was announced on Tuesday morning, February 2, as the new deadline now shifts to 6th of April, 2021.

Director of Public Affairs of the Nigeria Communications Commission, Ikechukwu Adinde, while disclosing this said the extension was conveyed by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami.

Pantami conveyed the message during a held meeting of the Ministerial Task-Force on NIN-SIM registration on February 1, 2021.
