This follows a recent request from the neighbouring African country.
This was disclosed by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Sunday, October 25.
The Nigeria Government-owned Transmission Company via its official media handle disclosed that a meeting was held last week between delegates of the two countries to discuss possibilities of connecting Chad to the Nigeria electricity grid.
Meanwhile, Nigeria whose current power generation hover between 3,000 to 4,500 MegaWatts, currently supply electricity to other three neigbouring African countries namely; Republics of Benin, Niger and Togo.
