Former NDLEA Staff Nabbed With 254kg Of Cannabis In Niger


A former staff of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ezekiel Adamu Pam, has been nabbed with 254kg of Cannabis.


The 46-year-old dismissed NDLEA staff was arrested on October 9, with 254kg of Cannabis.


Confirming the arrest, Acting Commander of the Niger State NDLEA, Aloye Oludare, said that the suspect was apprehended in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger state.


According to Oludare, Adamu Pam with Staff Number SN 5454, had been dismissed from the NDLEA last year.


Oludare disclosed that the Cannabis was loaded in Ado, Ekiti state, in company of another suspect who still remains at large.


Further investigations has commenced as the suspect will be duly prosecuted if found guilty within the law.
