Some supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), have faulted Nigeria's present economic woes on its citizens disobedience and sins to God.
They further condemned critics for blaming President Muhammadu Buhari for the country's present hardship.
The President's supporters attributed the country's hardship to a direct punishment from God.
In a widely circulated song released in "Hausa", the supporters claimed that Nigerians had turned away from God. Hence, the current hardship faced in the country was a direct punishment from God.
The song titled "Babu Ruwan Buhari" means "it has nothing to do with Buhari".
The song lyrics reads;
“People should stop blaming Buhari for current hardship . It is our sins and disobedience to Allah that put us in difficulties.
“Buhari has nothing to do with this. It is a result of our sins.
“We have abandoned Allah. It has nothing to do with Buhari.
“We should seek forgiveness for our sins. It has nothing to do with Buhari,” (Culled from NG News Reporters)
