Convoy of the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, have been reportedly involved in a ghastly road crash.
From report gathered, two security aides attached to the convoy lost their lives while Comrade Oshiomhole and some others survived the ghastly accident without sustaining injuries.
An articulated vehicle reportedly lost control and ran into the former Edo state governor's convoy.
This occurred on Tuesday noon, near Oluku junction, in Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo state.
The former governor's convoy was learnt to have been on its way to Usen, to join the APC campaign rally for the forthcoming Edo governorship election, prior to the accident occurrence.
Meanwhile, the APC's Edo guber candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu has called off his rally at Usen, as a result of the sad accident.
A statement also signed by Oshiomhole's media aide, Victor Oshoke, disclosed that two other persons sustained varying degrees of injuries from the accident.
