Following the recent massive attacks launched on the convoy of Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, by Boko Haram insurgents, the Governor has disclosed that he will be more careful with his movement especially in danger areas.
This was revealed by the Governor after some members of the National Assembly from the state paid him a sympathy visit in respect of the recent attacks.
While the Governor thanked the lawmakers for his visit, he affirmed his strong determination to make Borno peaceful again in no distant time.
He added that the security situation in the state is still critical.
“The situation, of course, is obnoxious and unlikely to remain unchanged except drastic actions is taken; otherwise the insurgency will take over Maiduguri," Governor Zulum said.
