EDO DECIDES 2020: Violence Breaks Out As Obaseki Arrives Polling Unit

From report gathered from TheCable, tension momentarily rented the atmosphere at polling unit 19, Ward 04, at Oredo Local Government Area of Edo state, where the incumbent Governor, Godwin Obaseki, is to vote.

Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) attacked each other briefly after the arrival of the Governor at his polling unit.

Godwin Obaseki of the PDP, is to battle the Edo gubernatorial race against Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC.

Recall that Obaseki had defected from the APC to the PDP after some alleged crisis in the ruling party, APC.
