Nigerian First Lady and wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has been reportedly flown to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, for the treatment of a severe neck pain.
Mrs Buhari was reported flown out of the country during the recent Sallah festive holiday, after complaining of the said neck pain for about two weeks to the time of departure.
The neck pain was learnt to have started shortly after her return from a trip to Lagos in July, where she had gone to visit Florence, wife of the late former Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, who died from COVID-19 complications.
An anonymous top Presidential aide revealed thus;
“The first lady started having severe neck pain during the 2019 Presidential electioneering. And she sought treatment abroad afterwards.
“However, recently the pain returned and was even worse than the first time. So, she was flown out last week. It was indeed a medical emergency.”
However, spokesman to the Nigerian First Lady, Aliyu Abdullah, has said that he is not aware of such report as he has not been to the villa for some weeks now.
