Woman Arrested For Drilling Nails On The Head Of Her 10-Year-Old Maid

The Enugu State Police Command has arrested a woman identified as Ifeoma Ezeugwu, for allegedly drilling nails into the head of a 10-year-old girl. 

The victim, Chinonye Nnadi, who is an housemaid to the suspect, was also alleged to have been tortured with hot electric iron by her Madam, Ifeoma. 

While disclosing this, Chairperson of the WomenAids Collective (WACOL), Prof. Joy Ngozi, said that her office was alerted about the case on Friday.

While condemning the act, Prof. Joy wished Chinonye quick recovery as she also demanded for full wrath of the law to take its course on the suspect, Ifeoma.

It was learnt that Chinonye was born to a poor widow in a rural village in Aku, near Nsukka, Enugu state, the poor widow had given up her child to live with Ifeoma, in the hope that her daughter will get an education and survive.
