Guiness record holder and Nigerian dancer, Kaffy celebrates 40th birthday with lovely photos

Award-winning dancer, CEO, and choreographer, Kafayat Shafau-Ameh AKA Kaffy, has embraced a new milestone as she clocks forty years old today, June 30.

The mother of two took to her Instagram handle @kaffydance, to share her lovely photos including a family picture with her husband and kids.

Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau (born June 30, 1980), popularly known as Kaffy, is a dancer, choreographer, dance instructor, and fitness coach. She is also the founder and leader of Imagneto Dance Company. 

Kaffy rose into limelight after breaking the renowned Guinness World Record for the "Longest Dance Party" at the Nokia Silverbird Danceathon in 2006.

She was born and raised in Nigeria. She had her primary education at Chrisland School, Opebi, Lagos state, proceeded for her secondary education at Coker Secondary School, Orile-Iganmu, Lagos, before moving further to the Yaba College of Technology for a short period. 

She went on to obtain a diploma in data processing from the Olabisi Onabanjo University. She planned on becoming an Aeronautic Engineer but destiny had something else in stock for her.

Kaffy started her dancing career after going for an event to perform on stage, where she was spotted by someone.

She is married to Joseph Ameh, who is a music director. The couples are blessed with two children.
