The unexpected and a bit spice of humour has happened in Cross Rivers state. A viral video making waves presently, shows the moment when wedding guests took to their heels on the sight of COVID-19 taskforce team.
The wedding ceremony had been held at a branch of the Apostolic Church, Calabar, in Cross Rivers state. According to reports, the wedding ceremony had breached the Government laid down rules on COVID-19 prevention. there was no form of social distancing rule and the use of face masks.
That was how the wedding guests took to their heels when they sighted the men of the state's COVID-19 taskforce team, the team had busted the church where the wedding was being held.
As seen in the video, the prospective couples made their way out of the church while the church leader was confronted.
