The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a prophetess with the name Evelyn Owoleke, in connection with the death of another woman during her childbirth at the prophetess church, Cherubim and Seraphim church at Ajao street in Aboru area of Lagos state.
Prior to the arrest, the deceased "Seun Olorunto" was to be delivered of her baby in the prophetess church, it turned out unwell as Olorunto allegedly bled to death from the delivery process while the baby survived.
Confirming the incident, the state's Police Public Relations Officer " Bala Elkana" during a statement released on the 10th of May, had stated that the Homicide Detectives of the Police Force had visited the scene following a distress call and found the deceased lying in her pool of blood.
The body of the deceased was moved to the Yaba General Hospital, Lagos for further autopsy report, while the infant was taken to the hospital for proper medical care and attention.
