A 40-year-old herbalist identified as Michael Itomu, with three other accomplices have been arrested after being caught in possession of fresh human hands in Idiroko, Ogun state.

The names of the accomplices are identified as; Mathew Idosu, John Feyisetan and Samuel Adegbola.

It was reported that Mathew had contacted one of his family members in Abeokuta, to get the hands at the rate of N1m. They were to be used for money rituals.

On delivery of the fresh hands, the agreed fee was demanded but the money was not readily available. This led to a hot dispute as John and Samuel were taken to a bush where they were thoroughly beaten. They were however released on the 17th of May, 2020.

They were arrested when those who supplied the hands made the whole secret leak. The hands have been taken to Idiroko General Hospital, Ogun state, for preservation.
