A passenger has died while the vehicle that boarded him was stopped at a checkpoint between osun and oyo state boundary.
According to report from "THE PUNCH", it was learnt that a vehicle conveying a sick man and other passengers from ibadan to Iwo was intercepted by security operatives stationed at a checkpoint.
While being interrogated and questioned, the sick man who was one of the passengers suddenly started coughing and kicked the bucket(died).
Confirming the incident, the police spokes-woman for Osun state command "Yemisi Opalola" revealed that the Mazda 323 vehicle with plate number KFS 409 EH was intercepted at the checkpoint, suspecting the deceased might have been a carrier of the pandemic virus.
Meanwhile, the state commissioner of police "Johnson Kokumo" has directed the total and proper monitoring of community boundaries to ensure the compliance of lockdown order.
