A man named Habeeb has been apprehended by the lagos state police command for allegedly killing his neighbor. This happened after the deceased "Taiwo Eluyemi" dispersed people from his home, including Habeeb from watching movie at his home.
The deceased reason for chasing them away was done in a bid to follow the social distancing rule amidst corona-virus lockdown.
Little did he know that his action would cause his death 24 hours later from when he drove them away from his residence, at Mafoluku Oshodi area of lagos state.
It was learnt that the deceased was ambushed by Habeeb while returning home from church with his son. The suspect wasted no time in stabbing him at the back and hand as he bled to death on the spot. This was in retaliation of the deceased driving him away from his home and not watching the movie he wanted at that particular time.
However, prior to the incident it was also reported that the duos have had misunderstandings before but was later settled within the community.
Confirming the incident, the lagos state police public relation officer "Bala Elkana" affirmed that investigations have started and that the suspect will be charged to court once investigations are rounded up.
