A man with the name Rasaq Babalola has been arrested by the Lagos state police after conspiring with his wife to kill their neigbour "Emeka Anozie" over COVID-19 palliatives.
This happened at Idimu area of Egbeda, Lagos state. It was reported that the suspect with his wife who is nowhere to be found after the incident had sent assasins to kill Emeka.
Trouble started knocking when Emeka hired a chef to cook food so as to share to people in their neigbourhood, it appears that Rasaq and his wife were displeased with the act and had warned Emeka not to share the purpoted food but he went adamant and did the way he was pleased.
It also happened that the suspect children were reported to have disturbed Emeka in his compound by throwing stones at his window, the latter had gone to warn their mother but she took it personal and threatened Emeka which later resulted to sending assassins to deal with him.
Emeka was dealt with thoroughly by the armed men while some of his valuable belongings were also seized. His two younger brothers were attacked in the process as efforts is still on the run to track and arrest the suspect wife.
Emeka has since been admitted at a hospital for proper medical attention.
