A 30 years old man "Alasan Audu" has been apprehended by Jigawa state police for allegedly raping his 17 years old wife to death.
This happened at the Kankaleru village in Ringim local government area of Jigawa state. Before the sad event took place, it was reported that the deceased married the husband out of her wish as she was forced.
Their union was just 20 days old as Alasan wanted to have a sexual intimacy with her, it was learnt that the wife turned down the request and this resulted to the use of force to satisfy his desire. The wife lost her life in the process.
The state police spokesman "Abdul Jinjiri" also confirmed the incident. He affirmed that the suspect will be charged to court and duly prosecuted as soon as investigations are concluded.
