2 women crushed to death by a moving truck along Lagos-Ibadan expressway

Two women have been reportedly crushed to death during a fatal accident along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

The accident which involved a truck vehicle with the number "FXT 984 XX" lost its brake and hit the motorcycle which the deceased were on board. This resulted to killing them in the process.

Also confirming the sad incident was the spokesperson for Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi said that the accident occurred as a result of brake faliure from the part of the truck.

While the vehicle and motorcycle have been moved to the Reedemed Police Station, the driver of the motorcycle was nowhere to be found after the incident.

The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) at Sagamu.
